Cozy puzzles for
the long night.
We make logic games for phones. They play completely offline, they never show you an ad, and nothing about you is ever sold or shared.
In the works
Penguindoku
One penguin in every colored colony. No two may share a row or a column, and no two may touch — not even corner to corner.
Coming to iOS & AndroidRuled out
Not a banner, not an interstitial, not a rewarded video.
Nothing is sold inside the game. There is no shop and no currency.
Nothing about you is sold, rented, or handed to advertisers. Not now and not later.
Mistakes are counted, never fatal. There is nothing to wait for and nothing to refill.
Every board is checked before it ships. If you are stuck, there is always a reason to find — never a coin to flip.
No seasons, no rotation, no levels taken away. What you unlock stays unlocked.
In Penguindoku, × is the mark you put on a square you have ruled out. It seemed like the right mark for this list too.
The studio
Penguin Bacon Studios is a small studio in Wisconsin, making apps that get finished.
It started because I was fed up. Every app I picked up was more advertising than app — stuffed with ads, built around paying to win, and somehow still missing the obvious features that would have made it pleasant to use. I wanted something good to play myself, so I built it.
That is the whole business model, and it is why nothing here is designed to keep you playing longer than you meant to. Pick it up for five minutes on a bus, put it down again, and nothing will nag you to come back.
